Covid-19 Booking Guarantee
To ensure that you feel reassured, safe, and secure when making your booking after 1st September 2021 we are pleased to be able to offer you our ‘Covid-19 Guarantee’.
Lockdowns and Restrictions:
Our ‘Covid-19 Guarantee’ means that if, within the 14 days prior to travel, you cannot travel on your educational school trip due to lockdowns or restrictions as a direct result from Covid-19, we will make alternative arrangements for your holiday, or where possible refund the monies paid. The non-refundable deposit will be exempt from this refund.
Our guarantee will apply in the event of:
A national lockdown that prevents your group from travelling
Restrictions in the destination preventing your group from travelling
We will guarantee that:
If a local lockdown is in effect at the destination, we will work closely with you to move your booking to a suitable alternative destination
If a change of destination is not a viable option, then we will look to amend your travel dates to a suitable, agreed alternative on a future date (at no extra cost), however these funds will become non-refundable
If we are not able to arrive at a suitable alternative arrangement, then we will refund the monies paid for your educational trip (excluding non-refundable deposits)
What we require from you:
Signed correspondence from the trip leader confirming acceptance of these terms at the time of booking the educational trip
Signed correspondence from the trip leader confirming acceptance of any alternative arrangements made
What is not covered in the Covid-19 guarantee?
Self-isolation following an educational trip abroad
Disinclination to travel
Please note that this guarantee does not take effect until 14 days prior to travel and will be based on Government guidance/restrictions that are in place for the UK or destination country at that time. Any cancellations that are made by yourself prior to this time would be subject to the standard cancellation terms as per our Terms and Conditions.
Covid-19 Illness:
Our ‘Covid-19 Guarantee’ means that if, within 14 days prior to departure, a member/s of your group cannot travel due to COVID-19 illness, they will be entitled to a full refund through our insurance provider. The remainder of the group will be expected to travel.
Our guarantee will apply in the event of:
A positive Covid-19 test result within 14 days prior to departure
We will guarantee that:
A full refund of monies paid, including deposit payment, will be given via our insurance provider
What we require from you:
Information from the NHS Covid-19 app showing that you have been requested to self-isolate due to a positive Covid-19 test result
A doctors letter
A letter from school
A positive Covid-19 test result (please note if you are supplying evidence of a positive lateral flow test result, we would require any image sent to include proof of identity – this could be in the form of photographic ID or a letter addressed in your name)
